Knock on Wood Furniture is a local business run by Brett and his family. Brett is a qualified cabinet maker who has always had a passion for working with recycled and reclaimed timbers. It was this passion that lead to him starting Knock On Wood Furniture and he has now been creating timber furniture pieces for over 30 years.

Knock On Wood make incredible handcrafted wooden furniture and are based in the Noosa Hinterland on the Sunshine Coast. We use a wide and eclectic range of new and reclaimed and recycled timbers for our bespoke creative pieces.
Our furniture pieces are crafted with timber sourced from wharves, old demolished Queenslander houses and even from new plantation timbers. You will often find Brett sorting through the remains of demolished homes, junk yards and refuse stations to reclaim and recycle timber that may otherwise go into landfill, be burnt or worse still dumped in our forests.
While there is usually a great story about the history of the timber, it’s the furniture itself that is highly sought after for it’s uniqueness and quality.
